Squash- Centercut (Winter/Summer)

According to Row 7  seed company who developed this hybrid, Centercut summer squash is a new chapter for the heirloom tromboncino, and an answer to ho-hum zucchini. Technically it is a winter squash, but is harvested when it’s 8-10″ long and treated like a summer squash. The neck is solid flesh and the seeds are confined to the small cavity at the blossom end of the fruit. Young green squash have a sweet, nutty flavor and meaty texture that can be grilled or roasted. Long vines can be trellised. Resistant to squash vine borers! 70 days to harvest.
